VHN takes our members’ legal protection seriously! The contract that you will sign with the property owner and receive after the booking is made, the following are the key clauses that will protect your investment.

If the property is sold before the 35 years contracted period. The property owner will be required to:

  1. Compensate you for the cost of the vacation home at the current market rate or allow a minimum of 12 months for you to place the vacation home in our marketplace for re-sale and for you to make other vacation arrangements.
  2. Compensate you as if the property is being rented at the current market rate whenever the vacation home cannot be used due to renovation.
  3. Update VHN and you the vacation homeowner immediately in the event of any changes or planned changes for the property that may affect your stay.

Clearly, these clauses will protect your investment!

Yes. You can authorize VHN to sell the vacation home contract and it will be listed in the VHN marketplace. The funds will be transferred to you after the sale, minus VHN administrative fee.
